M.A. IN SOUL STUDIES

Our Way to Didactics

The Master of Arts on Soul Studies program has a maximum duration of two years and is conducted in two sessions each semester—Spring and Fall—for a period of three mounths.
The didactic methodology predominantly adopted during the course of the Master of Arts program will include thematic conversational seminars in small group format; the recovery and adoption of the ancient didactic master-disciple model (individual Paideia) is crucial for a superior advanced formation on Soul and development of Soul.
Admission of students will take place each semester, after meeting with program directors. As part of the requisites for admission, both the profound motivations underlying the choice of this pathway and the degrees of the candidate will be taken into account.
The didactic modality will be conducted from Monday to Friday every week and organized as following:
a) two to four hours daily of small group seminar activity on themes proposed by group leaders (format of the International School and Confederation for Self-Philosophy); or themes proposed directly by student participants;
b) two to four hours daily of lectures and/or conferences on the subjects listed on the website (Didactic Activity);
c) at least three weekly individual meetings with faculty members or group leaders (optional, and included in the program fees).
Didactic group activity involves four to six hours daily, with three additional weekly meetings. At the completion of the program, requirements include individual colloquia
and a written thesis.
